Ofcom’s Communications Market Report provides an annual overview of UK media and device ownership and usage; essential reading for planning user-centric projects.
Just finished reading through OFCOM’s 2014 The Communications Market Report: United Kingdom as always it provides an invaluable insight into device ownership and media consumption in the UK. Some interesting changes from the 2013 report:

The Decade of Centenaries timeline website was launched on 20th June at PRONI. The aims of the launch were: to introduce the audience to the website, to use it to showcase the content of local archives and to encourage the audience to undertake their own research. Just putting the finishing touches to the Decade of Centenaries Timeline, a new free educational web resource that provides an illustrated timeline of events from Ulster’s history; 1885-1925. The website was commissioned by Community Relations Council NI to reflect its Remembering the Future – A Decade of Anniversaries initiative. We will be holding a launch for the website during Community Relations Week which runs between 16th-20th June 2014. The launch will provide an introduction and demonstration of the new Decade of Centenaries Timeline with talks from Dr Éamon Phoenix and PRONI on researching and using archive material to give context to the Decade of Anniversaries events.
