Cathedral Quarter Tour app landing pageThis tour provides an illustrated guide to the rich architectural heritage of the Cathedral Quarter, an area of cultural and historical importance focussed around St Anne’s Cathedral. This area contains many listed buildings and this tour features a number of these premises which date from the 18th Century to the 1930s. The Cathedral Quarter Tour app recounts the history of these buildings and through them the  story of the commercial heart of old Belfast.

The guided tour takes approximately half an hour to complete. A map guides users to 12 points of interest (POI) in the area. Each POI will feature a group of buildings of some historical and/or architectural merit. The app provides a short paragraph of text, a video and image slideshow for each building to illustrate the important architectural and historical features of each location.

The Cathedral Quarter Tour app was commissioned by the Ulster Architectural Heritage Society (UAHS) and funded by The Challenge Fund.
